Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who has made a lasting impression in the film industry. In the year 1976, De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. Her move to Texas for the purpose of pursuing an occupation as a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas for a brief period before she moved in Orlando Florida. She took part in a wide range of character roles including local independent movies and commercials. Despite the small parts she discovered her passion for acting. Then she moved in New York. Her first role was on the soap-opera All My Children. Through the first half of 2000 she was a small part in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was offered her first big series part in the drama The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount, and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006 she was also cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Her next role was on the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA.
